Batter life is abysmal--from the first use, lasted only an hour and now 6 months later it is just getting worse. The touch pad is very hard on the left thumb--it requires heavy pressure and your thumb will grow numb after longer use.Every day at about 9 pm, the computer decides to shut down and turn back on!I have no idea why, but I don't like this feature...And did I mention how slow this computer is?Unbearable.

DO NOT BUY THIS.I bought mine at Best Buy, took the first one back because of a spongy keyboard, The replacement is no better and the keyboard is constantly freezing and then skipping letters. I bought it to use for writing and wouldn't trust it for as far as I could sail a manhole cover. The Lenovo web help is an illusion. I am hopeful that Best Buy can do something for me. The bitterness of low quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten. I now am the proud owner of an expensive doorstop.

Don't buy this computer. I purchased this laptop for my daughter about 18 months ago. About 2 weeks ago, the whole back came apart and according to the manufacturer's warranty, we are out of luck. When she used it, it worked great. However, the extremely poor hardware configuration now has rendered this laptop useless. She can't even open it without the whole back coming apart. This laptop has not been abused, was always kept in a laptop sleeve. I have never had a problem like this with a Dell or an HP. This is pathetic and I am outof a lot of money. My other daughter's MacBook has never had any kind of problem and it is five years old, still works great.

I bought this laptop 2 years ago, it was my worst mistake of all time and I F.... hate it. I thought this gaming laptop will be good for my 3D modeling purposes. After the first couple of months, the screen started acting funny, it was jumping and kept turning off on its own. It still does that and it is too slow despite the SPECs. The screen is flickering right now that I am writing this review. I don't believe that I paid 1K$ for this piece of s..... and why I still own it. I will never buy any LENOVO products anymore.

Perfect laptop. I bought this for my fiancee who is a teacher. Its a lot of laptop for her but she multitasks a bunch and I wanted a laptop with the power to keep up with all the graphics and presentations she does as well as all the programs she has open at once. After putting a clean install of Win 10 on this laptop after getting it out the box I can say she is ecstatic with how well this laptop performs. Now many of the teachers at her school are wanting a Lenovo Y50 because they are impressed with it.

I would not suggest buying this laptop. After buying this laptop I ran into performance and display issues with this model. I have sent the laptop to the manufacturer two sperate times and they have returned it saying there is no issue with the product. I have done some research into the product and it turns out this product has several issues with its performance. Now the laptop is basically dying on me now. I would suggest looking for a different model or brand.
