#How do you seal these bags?
All Mylar bags must be heat-sealed to keep oxygen out. The sealing temperature is 400 degrees.
1.Use FoodSaver is a very easy way to seal the smaller gallon or quart bags.
Otherwise, the easiest way to do it is with a hair straightening iron if you have one.
2. The second easiest is with a household iron. It is much easier than ironing a shirt – One or two passes with the iron on the hottest setting, steam turned off, creates a great seal and is perfectly safe for the irn and the bag.
3. Use the impulse sealers for commercial sealing.
